Description
Why choose Leucillin antiseptic spray?
Leucillin is a revolutionary antiseptic that works in harmony with your pet’s own immune system. By utilising the active ingredient Hypochlorous (HOCl) which is a naturally occurring chemical produced by mammalian white blood cells, it provides an extremely effective yet totally safe solution for pathogen control.
This high-strength, fast-acting formula is significantly more powerful than standard antiseptics. While many products offer a 99.9% kill rate, Leucillin kills 99.99999% of germs. Because it destroys bacteria on contact, surviving cells cannot develop resistance. This makes it an essential tool for managing infections, allergies, and problematic skin conditions.
Where can Leucillin be used?
The versatility of Leucillin makes it the ultimate first aid tool for all animal owners. It is specially formulated for the equine and pet care markets and is suitable for use on all mammals, birds, and reptiles. Because it is skin pH neutral and non-toxic, you can use it confidently on the most sensitive areas.
Specifically, Leucillin is highly effective for:
-
Wound care: Cleaning and flushing minor cuts, grazes, and punctures.
-
Eye and ear care: It is 100% safe to use for flushing debris from eyes, managing tear staining, or cleaning the outer ear canal. Because it does not sting, it is perfect for these sensitive areas.
-
Skin management: Soothing itchy, flaky skin, hot spots, and fold irritations.
-
Daily hygiene: Flushing pulled claws and maintaining overall skin health.
Furthermore, Leucillin is completely safe and contains no substances prohibited by the FEI. Because it is harmless if inhaled or ingested, it is perfectly safe for pets that may lick treated areas – (although we wouldn’t recommend your pets lick their wounds!).
Instructions for use
Leucillin arrives ready to use and requires no rinsing or dilution. For optimum strength, simply spray twice to clear the nozzle and then apply liberally directly onto the affected area. Alternatively, you can saturate cotton wool with the solution to gently treat delicate areas around the face or ears.
