How to Book
Our courses are primarily based in the North East of England in Northumberland, however we do provide the occasional course outside of this region. All course dates are published on our website and are announced on our social media pages and monthly e-newsletter.
We can host private group bookings upon request – please visit our ‘hosting a course’ page for more information on private courses or a public course from your establishment.
Our CPD accredited & Ofqual regulated dog first aid courses are full day workshops covering all common canine emergencies. Our courses are guided by a visual presentation and workbook with practical bandaging and CPR sessions using training aids and specialist dog CPR manikins, as well as learning life saving skills using real dogs.
We use a range of ‘real life’ scenarios, photographs and videos during our workshop combined with experience and discussions to enhance your learning and understanding of each topic. Each student will receive our dog first aid guide.
Courses are available as CPD accreditation or the enhanced iPET Level 3 Award in Canine First Aid.
The course will last approximately 8 hours including lunch and refreshment breaks. We ask that you wear comfortable clothing and sensible footwear for the practical bandaging and CPR sessions.
We use training aids during our courses, and real dogs are used for demonstrations and practical training. We ask that you do not bring your dog along to pre-scheduled events. Private group bookings can be arranged where well behaved dogs are welcome.
Our first aid kits will be available to purchase on the day with discount for course students. Refreshments will be provided.
