Our Commitment

At The Dog First Aid Co. Ltd, we take great pride in the quality and integrity of our dog first aid products. Your pet’s safety is our highest priority, and we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This policy outlines how to proceed if you need to return an item.

  1. Please Check Your Order Upon Arrival
    Due to the nature of our first aid products, it is essential that you check your order as soon as it is delivered.

    Please carefully inspect all items to ensure there are no faults, damages from transit, or missing items. Should you find any issue, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can resolve the problem for you immediately.

  2. Faulty or Damaged Items
    If you believe an item in your kit or a product you have received is faulty or has been damaged in transit, please notify us straight away.

    You have 30 days from the date of delivery to report a faulty item for a full refund or a replacement.

    To report a fault, please email us at info@thedogfirstaid.co with your order number, a description of the fault, and photographic evidence of the issue.

    – For quality control and verification, we may request that you return the faulty item to us for inspection. If a return is required, we will provide you with a pre-paid returns label.

    Upon receipt and inspection of the faulty item, we will issue a full refund (including original postage costs) or dispatch a replacement item, according to your preference.

  3. If You Change Your Mind (Unwanted Items)
    We understand that sometimes you may wish to return an item. Under UK regulations, you have a 14-day cooling-off period.

    You must notify us of your intent to return an unwanted item within 14 days of receiving your order.

    For hygiene and safety reasons, we can only accept returns for unwanted items if they are in perfect, re-saleable condition. This means the item must be:
    – Unused and unopened.
    In its original, undamaged packaging.
    – All safety seals and sterile wrappings must be intact.

    – Non-Returnable Items: We cannot accept returns on any item that has been opened, used, or has a broken seal unless it is faulty.

    The buyer is responsible for the cost of return postage for unwanted items. We strongly recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot be held responsible for items that are lost or damaged on their way back to us.

    Your refund for the item cost will be processed once it has been returned to us and its condition has been verified.

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Contact Us First: Please email us at info@thedogfirstaid.co with your full name and order number, stating the reason for your return.
  2. Await Instructions: We will reply with instructions on how and where to send your return. Please do not send items back without contacting us first.
  3. Package Securely: Please ensure the item is packaged securely to prevent damage during its return journey.
